Community Rules! Must Read This!

These are pretty outdated community rules, if you are looking for the specific server rules either do /rules ingame, or go to your respective sub-forum for your server. For example, this is the Continuum one:

The following rules are in place in order to help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment in this Community and its Servers.

Our community has certain features that allow you to create your experience as you see fit. By using your Private Messages and Mails you can keep in touch with other players playing, while the same way, you can ignore a person using the Ignore Function which will stop you from seeing anything that person is writing.

If however, you witness another player posing a serious threat to the Community, Servers or the Players, you have the Forum's Complaint sections to let us know about that and let us deal with it accordingly.

Players who think that they have been falsely accused of breaking a rule or commiting an offense can and should submit an Unban Appeal in the Forum's Appealing Section.

Hacking

Software that can be used to gain an unfair advantage in our games may not be used.

Why do we have this rule?

Many software websites and applications contain keyloggers, trojans and viruses which will put players’ personal details at risk. Hacking also gives some players an unfair advantage and can detract from the gameplay experience of our Servers. We designed them to be enjoyable for everyone, not to be abused by some.

What is considered hacking?

These are some examples of software we ask you not to use:

Any kinds of software that offer you an unfair advantage over other players included but not limited to, fly hacks, spam bots, anti-afk tools, kill auras, chams, framework grids, wallhacks, EMPs, auto-bots, session stealers, glide, speed mining, fast placing, etc.

We ask our players to be aware that there is dangerous software available that won't necessarily be spotted by their anti-virus software.

Knowingly exploiting a bug
Players must not use any cheats or errors which they may find in our servers.

Why do we have this rule?

We have put a lot of effort into balancing our servers to make them as stable as fair and as fun as possible. Unintended bugs can spoil the effect of a game, so we obviously want to fix them as quickly as possible. Deliberately taking advantage of a bug can unbalance the game and devalue other players' efforts.

What if I find a bug by accident? I don't want to get banned for accidentally discovering a bug!

If you find a bug then report it to us immediately and do not divulge the nature of the issue to any other players. Players won’t be penalised for experiencing a bug unless they use it to their advantage or advertise the nature of the issue to other players.

How do I report a bug?

You create a topic in the forum's server problems section. A staff member will review it and deal with it accordingly.

When filling out either of our bug report forms please make sure you include as much detail as possible. This will help us find the bug and fix it as soon as possible. After the form has been filled out it will be sent to a member of Craftersland taff to investigate.

Staff Impersonation

Players must not attempt to impersonate Craftersland staff in any way, for any reason.

Why do we have this rule?

We have this rule in place so our players can identify members of Craftersland staff and to ensure that players can trust members of our staff for help and support with any game related problems they may have.

Someone is claiming to be a Staff Member. How can I tell if it is so?

Don’t listen to the rumours! We have no 'undercover' staff,

If you ever see anyone attempting to impersonate a Craftersland Staff member or any other player, we suggest that you ignore them and report them to us as soon as possible. All our staff members have prefixes before their name that tell so.

Scamming
Do not try to persuade or deceive another player to give you their personal data or items.

Why do we have this rule?

This rule is in place to protect our players' accounts and items. Players might try to abuse your lack of attention and deceive you into giving them your information or items.

What does 'item scam' mean?

An 'item scam' is to obtain items from another player by via dishonest means.

Unofficial Player Run Events

You must not advertise, organise, promote or take part in any unofficial player run events where in game money or items are given away or gambled.

Why do we have this rule?

This rule is in place in order to protect players from being involved with any kind of bug abusers or players that got items in an unfair way. Events are to be held only with approval of a Game Master or above.

What do I do if I see someone making a drop party at spawn?

Please report it on the forums under Complaints offering as much information as possible.

Inappropriate language or behaviour

You must not use any language which is offensive, racistic or obscene. This also includes discrimination, solicitation, threats, bullying and spamming.

Why do we have this rule?

Players of Craftersland come from all around the world and from a range cultural and religious backgrounds. Our mission is to create a fun and engaging environment for all our players, therefore language that is considered offensive, racist, obscene or otherwise inappropriate should not be used in chat or as a username.
We encourage players that experience language they deem to be offensive to use their ignore function.

What is considered offensive or inappropriate language?

This includes (but is not limited to): discussion of recreational drugs, sexually explicit language, solicitation, racism or other prejudice, threatening behaviour, blackmail and excessive swearing.

What is spam?

Spamming/flooding the chat window is to fill the chat window with unnecessary text. Players should refrain from spamming, as it can be detrimental to others enjoyment of the in game chat.
To keep Craftersland servers enjoyable for everyone, please observe and follow our rules. We will not tolerate disruptive players, and if you break our rules your account is likely to be banned or muted. Members who are banned or muted for breaking our rules are not entitled to any sort of refund.

Advertising
Players should refrain from actively advertising in any of our servers or forums.

Why do we have this rule?

This rule is in place in order to keep the players of our community safe from any harm to their accounts(by entering certain links that can steal their personal information) or their computer(by downloading viruses).

Am I allowed to post my Youtube Channel?

As long as your Channel abides by our rules regarding content and language you are free to post it.

Griefing
Players are not allowed to destroy any of a player's work by any means.

Why do we have this rule?

This rule is in place to assure a player's work is safe from harm's way and that the players of the community can play with eachother in a safe and fun environment.

Am I allowed to take items from an unprotected house?

Our servers use certain protection systems to protect certain areas. That does not mean that if you find an unprotected area it is yours to claim. It is still considered griefing and it will be punished accordingly.
