    Tips for Reducing Lag!
Hello and welcome to an informal set of guidelines and tips for reducing lag. One continual concern faced when hosting a modded Minecraft server, like everything else in the world, is performance. How well the server's performance is and how long it can continually perform at this rate. (Analytical tools such as TPS) Much of the time, poor Minecraft server performance is blamed on the machine hosting the server (seems intuitive, right?). However, as Brunyman has explained:
Computing power and memory speed/capacity are not necessarily the criminals here. As it has been explained through our discord, "We run servers with 64gb of ram, yet we allocate 10-12gb per server. We use the rest as a ram drive to load the world, because ms lag for the world causes tps lag- ram will only lag the server if it caps out, which it has yet to do. Only way a 10gb server would run out of memory would be if a memory leak was discovered." It is even recommended from Sponge contributors that 4-6gb is optimal. Without diving too deep into the actual performance of a Minecraft server under certain conditions and arguments, let us take a look at what diminishes server performance IN-GAME.
    Ticks per Second (TPS)
    The Smeltery (Tinker's Construct)
    Mob Farms
    One Chunk Bases
     The Quantum Quarry
Note: Players found to be purposely generating lag will be punished accordingly.

Ness27 reacted to brunyman in Happy New Year 2020! A look into 2019 and future.
Hi guys, as 2019 ends and a new year starts, I would like to thank you all for all your support, for keeping the community alive. The fact that we are still here after 8 years is thanks to all of you, each player that plays on our servers and staff members.
By looking into the 2019, a year ago we only had few modded servers running, we doubled the amount of rented dedicated hosts and servers, keeping all these running is getting more and more challenging but also it is still fun doing it.
So plans for future are to keep existing servers running with maintenance and updates and open more servers with different modpacks. In January we will have to do some Dedicated servers maintenance, means take them down, install all updates and reboot everything. We have 8 dedicated servers, all of them are running on i7 gen7 CPU except for one that is a Ryzen 7 first gen. By the end of Januarry and beginning  of February we will replace 6 of them with new intel i7 gen10 and Ryzen 7 3rd gen hardware. The nice part will be we will have more compute power at around the same yearly cost. We will post more info about maintenance or transfers to new hardware after New Year.

Thank you all, have a great New Year!

    God and Time permissions added.

Unfortunately, we do not hand out permissions to /effect or /give as they have no restrictions and can be used on other players. Best to not allow anyone to have such access. With access to /time set, there is no additional reason to add access to bloodmoon, as you can just /time set day to get out.

Drinking a bucket of milk will remove any effects you have.

Ah, yes. You have the outdated launcher version which is why it is not updating the modpack list.
    Before you download the new launcher I suggest you delete the folder (or wherever you have the launcher data saved) ;
    Documents\CraftersLand Launcher\launcher
The link here has been updated to download the new version:
