  2. Ok ok ok... I know you're probably thinking no banned items are banned for a reason ? suggestion bad but here me out for a sec.

Today I wanted to start a project where I had a computer monitor my kerosene lamps spread out around my base and deploy a drone to refill them when they're getting low (because creative tanks are banned ;-; and drones are cool) and then I found out OpenComputers drones are banned for griefing and then I was sad because I wouldn't be able to make my cool system because some bad apples wanted to use them to grief. I know i'm not a bad apple, (I hope) staff knows i'm not a bad apple so it made me think what if there was a way for me to get staff's approval to use banned items for appropiate use cases.

There is already a similar system in place for requesting commands such as world edit (which is arguably far more destructive) so I thought id give it a shot and see what you guys think.

    Thanks for reading!  ❤️

  3. I think they should be able to see who is lagging the server and maybe tp  to players but as for claim bypassing I’ve dealt with immature helpers in the past and while fraiz and flip are great, I wouldn’t be comfortable if all helpers had permission to bypass my claim. If they can find the claim that is lagging the server they can ask the person who’s claim it is to turn off their machines and kick them if they’re afk. That way it won’t all fall onto ness they can pinpoint the issue and fix it if possible and if not then they can elevate it to ness

  4. I wrote this song to commemorate the 8th anniversary.

Sung to the tune of “Spider-Man” by Paul Francis Webster

Brunyman! Brunyman! fix the servers with obby in his hand. Doesn’t talk, but walks the walk, patches the server like a tube filled with caulk

Server down for maintenance? You better start praying, your machines are gone while obsidian overtakes them.

Brunyman! Brunyman! Second to no one but Ness27, Brunyman! Brunyman! Carrying craftersland since 2011.

    *bows* Happy Birthday Craftersland ❤️

  5. Wrong section but anyways, there was a vote for a new modpack server recently and tekxit only got 6 votes so there currently isnt enough demand for cl to make a tekxit server. Maybe if the modpack devs work on making the pack fun more people will want to play it and craftersland will eventually add a server!

  6. I’m here today because this is one of those pivotal moments when every one of us, as members of Craftersland need to determine just who it is that we are, just what it is that we stand for. And as a fellow member, not as an Craftersland Alumnus, but as a fellow member, I am here to deliver a simple message, and that is that you need to vote Dungeons Dragons and Space Shuttles because our future depends on it.

Now, some of you may think I’m exaggerating when I say this poll is more important than any I can remember in my lifetime. I know politicians say that all the time. I have been guilty of saying it a few times, particularly when GT New Horizons was on the ballot. But just a glance at comments should tell you that this moment really is different. The stakes really are higher. The consequences of any of us sitting on the sidelines are more dire. And it’s not as if we haven’t had big elections before or big choices to make in our history. The fact is, if we allow Egnimatica 2 - Expert to win, we have failed as a community, we have failed bruny's expectation of us to choose a server that will benefit the community, and most importantly we have failed ourselves.

So before you press that vote button I beg of you, think what the server needs and vote dungeons dragons and space shuttles.

    Sincerely,

    cmyk

I think that the suggested price is too low, you're meant to play for claim blocks and gradually expand or buy them in mass via donation, that's part of the monetization model. Obviously, it should be reasonably expensive to get a claim, and considering that valuable resources sell for no more than $2000 (except for early game), you should expect to be able to get a 10x10 area for $2000 => $20/block. If the price is too high then either circumvent it by donation or play for longer and focus on expanding what you have vertically.

I based my prices off of tekkit since a chunk costs $500 iirc. I’m not too familiar with the dwolf economy so maybe my suggested price was low, but my point still stands, the current price is too high.

    Reasonably Expensive

  11. Hello,

Currently the price of a claimblock on 1.12.2 is $50 per block. It's not $50 for a chunk its $50 for a single block.

    Lets do some math.

    • A minecraft chunk is 16x16
    • This is 256 claim blocks per chunk. (A claim block extends to bedrock so height doesn't matter)
    • 256*50 = 12800

That is $12,800 to claim a single chunk ?

Suggestion: Lower a claim block to 6.25, this will make a chunk cost $1600 which I think is a fair price and everyone will be happy :D

    Thanks!

Special perms*: At the time of the previous transfer I was unable to get worldedit due to sponsors not being able to obtain creative. If I can get it that would be great if not, NBD.

    Thanks, and happy new years.
