  8. Introduction Thanks to ToddytheBody you can setup simple and quite reliable auto-crafting using not so expencive, almost early-game, machines. In this tutorial I will show you how to setup cheap and simple auto-crafting system. Machines needed - 1x Crafting Station (RFTools Control) - 1x Processor (RFTools Control) - 1x Workbench (RFTools Control) - 1x Programmer (RFTools Control) (Only needed to copy/paste program) Additional Materials needed - CPU Core (one for every crafting step) (the better core, the faster crafting will go) - Network Card (at least 1) - Crafting Card (one for every recipe) - Program Card (at least 1) Setup - Step 1 Place machines in order how it shows on picture (Processor in middle, Crafting Station on top, Workbench on bottom, 2 any Chests of left and right side) - Step 2 Use Programmer to paste program. !!!IMPORTANT!!! There are 2 programs, you need to chose one of them depending on direction your chests placed Program 1 (chests placed on North and South sides of processor) Copy and paste this text Program 2 (chests placed on East and West sides of processor) Copy and paste this text Copy and paste program into Programmer Place Program Card in Programmer and save program with any name Then Insert Program Card in Processor Add couple CPU cores Add Network Card Allocate Resources (Green squares) all from 0 to 11 Type "Net setup up" in console - Step 3 Use Crafting Cards to encode recipes. Place Crafting card in one of the chests. Check Crafting Station for new recipe (if there is no recipe, try to put Crafting Cards in another chest) Add resources to opposite chest. Now you can autocraft. If you got any problems write here for help. Troubleshooting First of all, toggle debug screen to show all infornation about machine (in Processor GUI, button named "Db." , press it untill you see info on screen or in world) List of problems Recipe stuck Check amount of CPU cores, you need 1 for every crafting step. Cancel all curent tasks, and press Button placed on processor (Simple stone of wood button, or level. You need redstone signal to unlock processor).Try to order recipe again. Console says "Missing inventory" You used wrong program, and it searching for chests in wrong position, try using another program. Crafting Station says "Failed" in task list You missing some materials in resource chest.
  9. Tons of thrilling Adventures, Magic, Science, Quests, Combat, Bosses, Automation, Exploration and Rats who shoot cheese from cannons? There is plenty to discover in all aspects of Eternal and there is plenty of unique twists to keep you engaged. MCE uses basic crafting recipes. I realized blending the fun parts from the likes of modded skyblock (quests, shop, etc along with RPG elements) in a kitchen sink pack that's not too complicated turns out is super enjoyable for all types of players (especially with friends! :D) *Get rewarded for doing whatever you feel like doing with the expansive questing system!* Featuring some questing chapters such as "Challenges" which is full of weird and wacky objectives like collect 1 million dirt, battle every boss in the game or build a jaffa factory (Many more challenges ingame). Difficulty varies along with rewards. 17. How many times have you tried to place a chunkloader but says you already reached the maximum number even if you don't have all of them placed? I bet a lot. Well, here, the fantastic iim_wolf, will explain how to remove the "corrupted" chunkloaders which aren't actually physically placed. First of all, you need to execute the /bcl list command which will show you all the chunkloaders that you currently have placed. This is the currently menu that will be shown after this command. As you see in the photo above, one of the chunkloaders isn't loaded, this can happen when you have a chunkloader in a dimension that has been reset. For example you have a chunkloader in an RFTool Dimension and somehow the dimension gets corrupted and you have to create it again, well, with that you will lose the chunkloader with no chance to manually break it. The only way to get rid of this chunkloader is by using the edit menu, which will appear as an inventory when you click the [Edit] button at the start of every chunkloader line. This menu shows your current amount of chunks your chunkloader is loading and the current option you can upgrade to: (1x1, 3x3, 5x5, 7x7, 9x9) and the important part, where you can remove your chunkloader: the redstone torch. When you press the redstone torch your chunkloader will get deleted and your balance updated with the correct amount of chunkloaders available you have. I hope this guide helped remove the corrupted chunkloader. If it doesn't, you can ask to a staffer in our discord channels (project ozone 3 or technical support). Have fun. - iim_wolf
  18. Hello guys! I've seen a lot of players asking this question, so I decided to make this small guide on how to do it!! (correct me if I did something/said something wrong ) what I'm going to use in this setup: * hopping bonsai, with sapling. * memory chest (I use small). * Itemduct (any type). * Retriver (the higher the better). * the destination inventory (crafter/chest... etc). I built the setup this way: (THE RETRIVER MUST BE PLACED ON THE DESTINATION INV SIDE) I'm using a gold sapling as an example, I filtered what I want to keep in the memory chest (hold the item and press on the middle mouse button on the slot you want to lock it): (you can filter it any way you want) now to the next part, the Retriver, that's the default GUI for it: now if you look at the top right area from it you'll notice the "Infinity" word, that's the main thing we want to mess with, it specify the amount of items you want to have in the destination inventory per each type, so if i changed it to number "1", it'll move and keep only one item from each type from the source inventory to the destination inventory (which are in this case the memory chest -> packager, and the items are gold acorns and gold resin), but we want more than one item to use/craft something with these items, so I'm going to put it on 64 items: as you can see above, the number changed to "64", you can change it by pressing on the "+" and "-" buttons in the GUI, now this will move and keep only one stack from each item, but before that happens we need to turn off Redstone control, press on the Redstone picture on the top right area: and press on the button inside the green circle, that will turn off Redstone control and make it always on. now that we turned that off, the items should start moving to the destination inv: we have 64 items from each type we're moving, as you can see above. now if we turn on/power that packager it'll start crafting the ambers and keeping 64 items only from each type! now you can automate bonsai's and amber crafting without worrying about the packager gets filled with only one item and stops crafting. reply if you need any help with it, or DM me on discord --ASOOD--#3076
  19. How to make Diesel set-up at MV tier In this guide i will explain how to make a Diesel Set-up (using oil and oilsand ore) to power your MV+ machinery. You will need the following machines: 1- Advanced Centrifuge x 1 2- Advanced Distillery x 2 3- Advanced Chemical Reactor x 2 4- Advanced Electrolyzer x 2 5- Super Tank I (or higher) x 1 6- Low Voltage Fluid tank (or higher) x 7 7- Advanced Mixer x 1 8- Better Barrel x 2 9) Oilsand Ore x from 1 to 64 stacks 10) Fluid Pipe with a MV Pump x 2 11) Diamond Tanks filled with Oil x 5 (the more the better) Now i will explain how to build the set-up to turn Oilsand in to Heavy fuel: You first need the centrifuge Processing the Oilsand, it does not need a circuit to process it. The centrifuge will process the Oilsand in to Heavy Oil and that Heavy Oil need to be transfer in to a Distillery with Circuit #1 to produce Sulfuric Heavy Fuel. Then transfer the Sulfuric Heavy Fuel in to a Chemical reactor with Circuit #4 with Hydrogen Cells to produce Heavy Fuel. (Next line will explain how to get the Hydrogen Cells) (1-A) You will need an Electrolyzer with Circuit #3, water and empty cells to produce Hydrogen Cells. This process will also produce Oxygen. Send the Oxygen in to one of the Low Voltage Fluid tank for storage. Once you have the Sulfuric Heavy Fuel inside the Chemical Reactor with Circuit #4 and Hydrogen Cells, it will produce the heavy fuel. The Heavy Fuel can then be sent to a Low Voltage Fluid Tank for storage. The Chemical reactor will also create cells filled with Hydrogen Sulfide that you send to another Low Voltage Fluid Tank for storage. (The Oxygen and the Hydrogen Sulfide will not be used in this process to produce the Diesel, so you can send it to big storage areas for later use, or set a system to void them) Now i will explain how to build the set-up to turn Oil in to Light Fuel: First you will need to place the Super Tank I and attach a Fluid Pipe with a MV Pump so you can pump the Oil from the Diamond Tanks in to the Super Tank I. Then you need to set a second MV Pump in another Fluid Pipe to pump the Oil from the Super Tank I in to a Distillery with Circuit #2. This process will turn Oil in to Sulfuric Light Fuel. Send the Sulfuric Light Fuel in to a Chemical Reactor with Circuit #4 and Hydrogen Cells to produce the Light Fuel. (See line (1-A) to produce the Hydrogen Cells that goes in to the Chemical reactor.) Send the Light Fuel in to a Low Voltage Fluid Tank with Empty Cells, so you can fill the Cells with Light Fuel. Now that you are producing both Heavy Fuel and Light Fuel, all you have to do is Mix Them to make the Diesel. I will explain how now: Send the Heavy Fuel in liquid form in to a Mixer with Circuit #5 and Light Fuel Cells. This will mix the Heavy Fuel with the Light Fuel and Produce Diesel. And there you go, you have a Diesel Set-Up using Both Oil and Oilsands. Remember that Bi-products like Oxygen and Hydrogen Sulfide will be produced in the set-up and need to be stored or void, you will also need to send back the empty cells to get them filled again to automate the process. I Just Covered the basics, the automate part i will leave it up to you guys to figure it out. I use the Low Voltage Fluid tank to store the Liquids to make it easier to empty or fill cells, but the final product and By-products i send in to maxed out steel tanks. Meaning i have 1 tank for Diesel, one tank for Oxygen and one tank for Hydrogen Sulfide. The Oxygen can be used in the Electronic Blast Furnace to help with the ingot production. The Hydrogen Sulfide is used in some Chemical reactor recipes. There are many ways of producing Heavy Fuel, Light Fuel and Diesel, i just shared the way i do it and in no way i claim is the most effective or the only way. Its up to you to find the way that better work for you.
  20. How to make Polyethylene using oil/light fuel on MV tier. 1) Machines you will need a) Distillery x 2 b) Chemical Reactor x 3 c) Centrifuge x 1 d) Compressor x 1 e) Fluid Canner x 2 f) Super Tank I (or higher) x 1 g) One MV pump x 2 h) Fluid Pipes (depending your set-up will be the amount needed) i) Diamond tanks filled with oil (as many as you can) 2) Steps to follow First place the Super tank I and place a pipe with a pump towards the outside, so you can pump oil in to the Super Tank from the diamond tanks filled with oil. The place another pipe with a pump to pump the oil from the Super Tank I in to the Distillery. This Distillery will need a Circuit #2 to turn oil in to Sulfuric Light Fuel. Pass the Sulfuric Light Fuel in to a Chemical Reactor with Hydrogen Cells and Circuit #4. (next line will tell you how to get the cells) You will need a Centrifuge with Yellow/Brown Limonite + Empty cells to produce Hydrogen (it will also produce oxygen cells). Pass the Hydrogen directly in to a fluid canner with empty cells so you can fill the cells with Hydrogen. Once the Chemical reactor has the Sulfuric Light Fuel and the Hydrogen cells with Circuit #4, it will turn the Sulfuric Light Fuel In to Light Fuel. Then you will need to pass the Light Fuel in to a Chemical reactor with steam cells and Circuit #3. (Next line will tell you how to get Steam in to cells) You will need a steam pipe line connected in to a Fluid canner with empty cells, so you can fill the cells with steam. Once you pass the Steam Cells in to the Chemical Reactor with Light Fuel and Circuit #3, it will turn the light fuel in to Severely Steam-Cracked Light Fuel (SSCLF for short). Pass the SSCLF in to a Distillery with Circuit #10 to produce Ethylene. Then you will need to pass the Ethylene in to a Chemical reactor with Compressed air cells and Circuit #1. (Next line will tell you how to get the Compressed air cells) You will need a Compressor with Empty cells to produce the Compressed Air Cells. Once you have the Compressed Air Cells, you will need to pass it in to the Chemical Reactor with Ethylene and Circuit #1 to produce Molten Polyethylene. Note, you can either build a storage tank for the Molten Polyethylene or pass it to a Fluid Solidifier with Ingots mold to produce the Polyethylene ingots. But my advice will be to sent the Molten Polyethylene to a liquid storage and from the liquid storage pass it to the fluid solidifier, in that way you will always have enough Molten Polyethylene when needed. This is the way i would do it, doesn't necessary mean is the only way, Polyethylene has many ways of doing it, some more effective than other.
  21. Last updated: 08. December 2020 14:05 (2:05pm CET) So you are about to start one of the heaviest modpacks? Then check this really short guide and read carefully. This short guide is designed to help you avoid nonsensical mistakes that many newbies make. Our GT:NH-Server uses jobs. This means that you can earn money in-game. Crafter, Woodcutter or Miner are just a few of the jobs available. They are not completely ready yet, but we will update them constantly. For now you can have up to 3 Jobs +++++ THE JOB CRAFTER DOES NOT WORK YET +++++ Probably the biggest job is the "Crafter" job. At the Moment, several hundred machines are currently added. To check which machine gives how much money, check this Excel Sheet So, lets go the Modpack itself: As you may have seen, the nights are extremely dark. Hardcore Darkness also removes the last remaining brightness from your 7000$ High-End Monitor and you can't do anything against it. GT: New Horizons comes with a well structured quest book and contains more than 2500 Quests. The Questbook will be your best friend for the next few months, so be careful not to lose it. In case you are just as careless as I am, you can open your quest book with "~". Also check the control settings, not that something overlaps. So let us start then! First of all, of course, you want to leave the spawn and find a suitable point to settle at. For that you can use the Random TP Signs at Spawn to find a nice location. And right here it starts to get really stupid. Now just take a look in the upper left corner. This thing is called Ingame Info. As you can see, important things are displayed there. Have you ever seen humidity in Minecraft? Be careful, that is one of the criteria by which you should choose your base location. In Early game ( Your early game will be exhausting, devastating and stressful and REALLY LONG ) you need water, of course, as in any other modpack. However, water is not infinite here, at least not in natural sources such as oceans, rivers, lakes etc. Accordingly, you have to find other ways to have permanent water. How about some rainwater? Water-Tanks are the way to go. These have a standard filling rate which depends on the humidity. It doesn't have to rain for that! You are hungry? Okay, let's look for some food. Oh, you have found some pigs and think it will last a while? Unfortunately I have to disappoint you. GTNH contains the Mod "Spice of Life". Spice of Life forces you to eat different things. You can't eat the same thing several times in a row. But there is also good news. You will be rewarded the more different food you have eaten: You will gain new hearts and increasing your max health! Avoid the Nights! The monsters here are extremely cruel and strong. Therefore, try to position yourself securely for the first few nights. Create a town as soon as possible, Monster Spawn is turned off by default there. Use NEI properly! GTNH has tons of different recipes. Some are more efficient and conserve resources, others are not. So always try to find the best recipe and keep an eye out for new things that you can already craft! Pollution? in Minecraft? Pollution will quickly become a problem. Pretty much everything produces pollution. This means that you will quickly feel adverse side effects. Poison, blindness or slowness are just a few of these effects. To see which machines produce pollution, look at the description of these machines in NEI. Pollution can spread across chunks. Pollution will naturally dissipate over time albeit slowly. Later, however, you can also use the Pollution Scrubber to get the pollution under control. Do not cross chunk boundaries: Later you will also build your first multiblocks such as the BBF. It is extremely important that you do not build these across chunks. This can lead to significant problems. I told you! Well, I could list a lot more now. However, everything can be found in detail in the quest book. You can also read certain mechanics or how the OreGeneration works in the GTNH Wiki. Wiki: https://gtnh.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page To see, where all the Ores spawn and more advanced stuff, you can check out this: Excel Sheet: Excel Sheet Below you can find useful screens with important processing lines (Made by Sampsa): Glass Process Line: Electronic Circuit (LV): Electronic Circuit (MV - IV): Industrial TNT Process Line (MV - IV): Aspect Chart: Platinum Process Line:
  22. This is a clock that displays the time IRL. It uses a program I made to grab the time and spit it out in a 7 segment display. I have it showing 12 hour format EST but you can change the program slightly to get any timezone and/or 24 hour format. I am using pistons but you can hook it up to lights such as Project-Red Lamps if you don't want the piston noise. Use Rednet cables and copy the layout with the same colors on each side. You can scale it up by adding more blocks for each color/segment. Do the same for both sides with the same layout and colors. Connect them to an Advanced Computer on the right and left sides (with the computer facing the front of the display). Open up the Computer and type: pastebin get 4nRg9CHU json (this downloads the API used in the program) Next, type: pastebin get 2DNvbwUA startup You should now have a working clock in 12 hour EST format. In order to change the time zone, go to http://worldtimeapi.org/timezone/ and click on your timezone. Click on the JSON link (as circled in red) and copy the URL. Edit the startup program and paste the URL in the http.request(" ") Save the program and restart. You should now have changed the timezone. In order to get the time in 24 hour format, comment out or delete the 3 lines at the top of the picture. To get the blinking colon in the middle I used a simple timer with a Programmable Rednet Controller. Use rednet cables on the white channel connected to the top of it. Copy the settings in the picture. Feel free to message me in game or on discord if you have any problems. Here are links to everything: https://imgur.com/a/POPo5ze https://pastebin.com/4nRg9CHU https://pastebin.com/2DNvbwUA http://worldtimeapi.org/timezone/
  23. if you ever were wondering why the heck i'm sitting near my mob farm and no mobs will spawn... so this is cause the mob spawnrate is completely changed in SF4, here's how to spawn the mobs: 1. Method: craft some water candles and a flint and steel, place the water candles in a dark room or mob farm and lit them with the flint and steel, go away ~30 blocks and wait a bit, then the mobs will begin to spawn. (you can build also a mob farm with fans, but remember to collect the items the mobs drop to prevent lags!) and don't set up more than max. 20-40 water candles. 2. Method: very simple, just craft mob seeds and plant them, bonemeal them to grow mobs like a zombie, etc., does not work with all mobs like the androids, etc. 3. Method: get some spawn monoliths, place them in a dark room and go away ~30 blocks and wait for mob spawns, you can build a mob farm too with these. 4. Method: get a silk touch pick (silktouch is craftable with a book and silky cloth) and go to the nether, twilight, etc. to find some spawners, harvest them and build a mob farm, you can also change a spawner with a spawn egg, there's also a guide how to get spawn eggs in this guides area. 5. Method: is the most complicated one, you need to craft mob inprisonment tools and catch some mobs, then you need to set up a mob crusher to kill the mobs and get mob essence for the mob duplicator, add a mob inprisonment tool with a catched mob in it to the mob duplicator, power it and add mob essence too in it to spawn mobs, it can't spawn boss mobs or withers! you can add range and fortune addons in the mob crusher to get more loot and kill mobs in a bigger radius and you also can add range addons in the mob duplicator to spawn mobs in a bigger radius. VERY IMPORTANT: always collect the mob drops and make sure not to spawn tons of mobs, these can cause lags, please prevent lags!
  24. So here's a guide how to get Spawn Eggs (for example to change a Spawner) first you need to craft a mob swab to get mob dna, you need 2 wool and a stick after you crafted a mob swab you need to find a mob like a zombie hit the mob with the mob swab to get it's dna after that you need to craft gm food, it contains the mob swab with dna, normal wheat seed and a bucket of liquid xp if you don't know how to get liquid xp, craft a xp drain singularity tank (or in other modpacks it can be a xp pylon or something else that can collect xp), kill some mobs to get xp levels and sit on the xp drain to drain your xp off in the tank than hit it with an empty iron bucket and it fills up with xp when the tank or pylon, etc. has atleast 1000mb xp stored. after this when you have the gm food, find a adult chicken and feed it to em, the chicken will explode (without damage) and drops a spawn egg that can be used to change a spawner. NOTE 1: in some mod packs you can grow chickens by chicken seeds, they're craftable, if you have these seed, plant it on a grass block and bonemeal it to grow a baby chicken, feed the chicken with a stack of wheat seeds and it grows up into an adult without 20 mins of waiting, then feed the adult chicken the gm food. NOTE 2: it doesn't work for boss mobs like the wither or naga, lich, etc. there is also another way to get spawn eggs, for this you need to get the capturing enchantment on your sword, it's mostly only avaible with a hellshelf enchanting table with the enchant power of X4. (it's build up the same way as a vanilla enchanting table) if you kill mobs with this enchant, there will be a chance to drop their spawn egg, this also works on withers, naga, etc. too, but if you try to make a naga spawner, lich spawner, etc. the spawner will break or in some mods packs it's not possible to change a spawner into a naga spawner, etc., so be careful with this method.
  25. Hello to all! I want to showcase a method to get a lot of power with little impact on space and server (at least much friendly than a rainbow generator setup). What you need to make this run at max efficiency and max size: 1. Mods: Mekanism, Actually Additions (or any mod that can facilitate infinite water transfer, you'll need a lot), Pam's Harvestcraft (sink), EnderIO (optional) and any other mod that can improve the setup; 2. Prerequisites: A lot of steel, 1 setup to turn brine (infinite from spawn) into fuel. To get things started you need to make the fuel needed to keep up with the high injection rate for the reactors: - a Thermal Evaporation Plant setup to turn the brine into Liquid Lithium that then goes into an Electrolytic Separator to make the Deuterium and Tritium which you can store it in a AE gas system or in a gas tank To get the amount of steam needed to keep the Industrial Turbine running you'll need about 3 Fusion Reactors running at about 80 injection rate (i keep 2 at 98 and 1 at 60) As you can see above in the images, 1 reactor at 98 injection rate makes 3.675.000 mb/t and needs same amount of water to be pumped in. that is where the Actually Additions comes in; using lasers you can pump the water at infinite rate. The downside is that you always need to link the lasers again after every server restart. Building the Fusion Reactors next to the Industrial Turbine skips the need to pump the steam out of the reactor. It auto outputs. Same goes for recycling the water out of the turbines. As you can see in the wiki page for the turbine, its a 17x17x18 multiblock structure. After being assembled it will make around 270 mil RF/t. If provided with the necessary amount of steam (9.360.000 mb/t of steam): Hope this helps you with learning a new and not so common way of generating power. If you have any questions you can leave a message here or on skyblock2 discord section. Thank you and have a great time on the server!
