Unable to join GTNH server due to message that it is an Incompatible FML Modded Server

I have been unable to join the GTNH server because of the reasons stated in the title. I assumed that maybe the CurseForge launcher was the problem due to its tendency to have outdated versions of modpacks. I downloaded the FTB Official Launcher and modpack on there, but was still unable to join. I also just saw that the server has 279 mods, while I have 305 from downloading the modpack. Appreciate any help.
