Convocation of the damned

Can someone help me?

I'm doing the ritual convocation of the damned and i'm at the point to spawn the demon on top of the altar but it don't want to spawn. My demon crystal is gone when i shift-right click on top of the altar but there is not spawning any demon. I'm doing this in an rftool world so i have the time until friday! I hope you can help me asap. It takes me so long do to this and i don't want that everything is goning to be lost and for nothing.
