maps overlaying

I've just added Rei's minimap to tekkit legends and now I've got two mini maps. Any way for me to disable the default map?

1. We don't have a Tekkit Legends server so I am going to assume you mean Tekkit (otherwise known as Tekkit Main).

 

2. If so, Rei's Minimap is one of the mods already installed in the modpack so I don't understand the reason behind your choice.

 

3. Regardless of your choice, it should show you the key which the Menu is bound to under the map display. In there, you can disable the map.

 

4. Since it's still not clear (even though likely it's Tekkit), could you say which server you are playing on?

On the Technic launcher, it says tekkit legends, i have no clue what anything means anymore as i have been out of the loop for some years. when i booted it up the first thing i tried was to set a way point, but the nothing happened so i looked in the modpacks installed and Rei's minimap wasn't even there. now if there's something i've done wrong i have no clue.

That i also don't know. i just click on play on the launcher then on on single player.

I didn't need to install Rei's mm the keys allocated were different to what i am used to. sorry for the hassle and it's nice to see that i've made a fool of myself lol.
