Chunkloaders typically despawn often when the server crashes, this is due to a certain server setting that despawns the chunkloaders loading chunks that are causing the lag the server thinks crashed the server. Because of this chunk loading wards are sold at spawn at 250$ each to make up for the despawning of your chunkloaders. Beware that when you place a chunkloader there is a chance of it despawning when the server crashes.
