TinyToJo Posted April 18 Posted April 18 After the reset, certain players Flux Points/ Plugs are automatically connected to networks which are not there's, by the way, bypassing password encryption. Apparently if someone has the first and second networks for instance before the reset, they will be auto-connected to the networks of whoever creates the first and second networks on the new reset, I'm not sure if that's always the case but that is what I've observed (edit: there seems to be another random player connected so I don't know). This has been happening since the recent Wipe of the Revelation server according to another player. Edit: Energy is pulled from the network, assuming the flux points are chunk loaded of course. Quote
ʀᴏʏᴀʟʀᴇᴅʀᴀɴɢᴇʀ Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Hey, I don't play on this network, or moderate it, but i do know what your talking about, we have the same issue on SkyFactory 4. I am always connected to a network called "Walter" which i believe is our admins network. Whilst the connection bypasses encryption, I don't think energy does? But yeah, seems to not be only your network Quote
Hanners42 Posted Wednesday at 07:23 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:23 AM If its like the reset we have on SF4 when the networks get deleted but the plugs/points/controllers/storage remember which slot they were on after the reset. If another player creates a network in the slot you had before you change network of the old week's plugs/points/controllers/storage they will default to what ever is on that slot. However I have ownership if I placed the plugs/points/controllers/storage. So you aren't locked out. The new network owner can remotely disconnect as long as the plugs/points/controllers/storage is chunk loaded. Lets use mine and Royal's networks before the wipe. Week 1 I have Walter in slot 1 Royal has Neocity in slot 2 Week 2 Royal has slot 1 I have slot 2 If I didn't change my plugs/points/controllers/storage they would show Neocity. I can recreate Walter, access them, and change them to Walter. After this Royal would have no control on them. bottleofsyrup 1 Quote
