I was in rlcraft servers and doing villager stuff, because both the disenchanting and purification is unusable for some what ever reason. I was in a claim trying to farm zombie villagers, and then I got  killed by a player, when I was in my claim. This violates RLCraft Rules number 2; "PvP is allowed, however, you can only engage in PvP in the wilderness. PvP in claimed land is not allowed."
This is a photo of him I'm standing in my claim, and my "Last death" location by a map mod, but the text was too fast, and I was unable to take a photo of my death message. But by the text, it can be seen that I was actually killed, and was in a claim.
And I do not violate community rules 1,

"This does not mean that you can't use any mods that are not present in the modpack itself. Mods like Optifine, JourneyMap or Schematica do offer an advantage over those who don't use these mods, but we consider them part of the regular server experience."

I am the player in question, the kill was indeed in a claim however it was 40k blocks out in raid world and was an illegal claim as per end bunker rules. I was unaware of the claim existing as I didn't think anyone would be weird enough to blatantly disregard the bunker rules in this manner.

For the record, no items were lost on the portion of the victim and an apology was given out immediately, as well as teaching the player about the importance of the end bunker and encouraging them to make one.

Please see the file attached where it clearly states any claim outside of the end bunker will be abandoned and vanished without a refund.

the fact that everyone was saying in chat that you shouldn't have a raid claim 40k blocks out, is correct you shouldn't be in the raid world thinking a pvper might not come across you. Its called a raid world for a reason... This sign also pretty much clarifies anything outside the bunker will not be refunded, yet you got your stuff back.

Just to clarify my position:

1. The claim was illegal by server standards

According to the official sign near the End Bunker, any claim outside of the bunker is not recognized, will be abandoned, and is not subject to protection or refunds. The player I encountered was 40,000+ blocks out in raid world which is well beyond the allowed area. Regardless of whether a "claim" existed, it was invalid by rule.

2. PvP is allowed in wilderness

The server rule clearly states: "PvP is allowed, however, you can only engage in PvP in the wilderness."

Since illegal claims are not respected, and the area was in raid world, this qualifies as wilderness both in spirit and in enforcement

3. Immediate return of items

As soon as I realized the misunderstanding, I:

  • Returned the player’s items

  • Apologized for the confusion on my part

  • Explained the End Bunker claim rules

  • Helped them understand the purpose of the bunker and how to obtain a plot

4. The real rulebreaker is the one who claimed illegally

Making unauthorized claims in a world wiping weekly which does not host the bunker itself and is made for looting, then expecting claim protection and PvP immunity, is exactly what the sign warns against.

Players who disregard global server-wide emergency rules should not then fall back on default mechanics for protection, as it is extremely unfair for those who DO follow the rules and are stuck living in a hostile dimension with limited space.

Though I do recognize killing in claim is very much against the rules. I can say for certain this was not intentional on luvtravy’s part. I have never heard of a player claiming a dungeon 40k blocks out in raid, and also would not have checked if it was claimed before attacking. I don’t think any PKer would.

Personally I would not have gone for a punishment over this in the victim’s shoes, but from what I know of skilless, this was pretty predictable 💀

Denied. These are the temporary server rules and will be enforced properly. The End Bunker is the ONLY server recognized claim (excluding spawn) and will infact be treated like its spawn.

T/C

make a request for a end bunker for items to carry over

On another note, pvp is allowed anywhere but the end island. If you catch someone in the nether, end, etc, even if they are in their claim. You can kill them.

Seems as i didnt put enough info here.

The sign in the end bunker signifies that we will not honor claims anywhere but the end bunker itself. It is the only pvp protected place along with spawn, and is treated as spawn itself.

There is a exception. You can still get hit with rule 5 for in other words, “Being a complete asshole.”

PVP is apart of rlc, so I just ask you dont massacre the people who are new to the server.
