Can't retain Xp

So on the sky factory 2.5 server my player cannot retain xp at the moment it'd been going on since last night and I hoped that it would fix itself today. If I claim xp from an enderio obelisk, killer joe nothing. I stay at level 0 with no xp (however it shows xp being consumed like it should be on me). If I break a bottle of enchant, I stay at level 0 with 0xp. Xp shower.....nothing. At first I thought it was a visual bug untill I went to make a spawner on the anvil all things I have tried that require player xp it tells me I have no xp.

No problem, avoid double posting next time :).
Issue fixed in-game, player had to kill himself in order to fix the xp bar
