Infusion fail (Witchery)

Hello Crafter's Land Team,

 

I have tried to infuse myself with Spirit of Otherwhere, I had death protection poppet on me (bound obviously) however when i did this, i not only died but my death poppet also disappeared with the distinctive bing" sound. I was also morphed as myself FYI.

I tried this 1 time b4 in my own world and it worked, also did it after it failed and also worked again with same setup. 

Therefore, I believe this is on the server side, if possible could a Mod watch me do this infusion again... I dont have many resources so i cant make another death poppet(so plz could u provide dont have enough ghast tears so HARD TO OBTAIN!) but i still have a spirit of otherwhere because it auto makes 2... although it would be great if u could give me a spirit of otherwhere as it is extremely expensive.
