Friend crashing on entering server.

Playing 1.12, only change is thaumcraft.

 

He's getting this error on joining the server:

The game crashed whilst tesselating block in world
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Tesselating block in world

That's all the game gives him, not sure what to try?
