Terrestrial Agglomeration Plate fails to create item

Block: Terrestrial Agglomeration Plate

Recipe: Aquamarine, Stardust, Mana Pearl

Result: Resonating Gem (Astral Sorcery)

With the plate being properly fed enough mana by mana spreaders (mana pools did not deplete), the structure properly made , and the items right-clicked onto the plate as wiki states, the recipe failed.  Three glowing blue lights showed up at the start and gradually came together as mana fed in.  At the end, mana feed stopped and no resulting item appeared, even when using a magnetized ring to search the area.  Recipe items were destroyed, seemingly, and I suspect they may have despawned, as it the case with anything that tkes too long to run (i.e. broken mana pool recipes).

Beisdes the obvious reimbursement of items (either recipe or results), I would like to know if I am doing something wrong, if there is an altrnative way to make this, or if this is truly broken.

This is considered critical, as it halts many recipes in the quest line.

Further testing showed that poor documentation for the mod was the problem, and left out a key item (Botania sparks) that was necessary for the plate to work.  Consider this thread closed.
