Dragon Egg is not htched but is gone

Hi

I have get an Bronze DragonEgg and i placed it with rightklick in fire of a netherrack. it began to dance and after a few sec. it was guog. but i didnt get my dragon...whats happend?

 

Now hes dead and i dont know why... in chat stand : dragon is zapped
