whenever i try to play FTB StoneBlock 2 on the launcher it gives me and error and then resets

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastException: class jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to class java.net.URLClassLoader (jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader and java.net.URLClassLoader are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')
    at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.<init>(Launch.java:34)
    at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)
this is the error and i have no idea what it means, please help

Hi, what operating system do you run? Windows, MAC, Linux?

What launcher executable do you use?

Try to delete your launcher installation and download the latest version here:

Do a fresh install
