Abyssalcraft (Oblivion catalyst)

So ive been trying to make the oblivion catalyst from abyssalcraft. at first i thought i was doing something wrong , so i decided to do it again but nothing. anyway to be short i did the ritual 4 times now every time the items gets used up, and the PE needed for ritual too. but in the end i am not getting the catalyst. so if anyone can let me know if i am doing something wrong that would be great. thanks!
