It seems that sometimes the barrels will just break without any obvious cause, and the only real solution is to break and replace them. If you use "/vote" or claim your daily reward with "/rewards," you'll be able to obtain in-game cash to use in the spawn shop. There is a sign upstairs for dirt that is selling half a stack (32) for pretty cheap. I suggest using that method for now, or asking anyone else who happens to be online.
