Weekly dimension wipes and wipeable extra overworld dimension

My suggestion is to add an extra dimension that is just like the overworld and doing weekly or monthly dimension wipes of everything but the main overworld. 
This would give players a dimension for base building and permanent setup and leave the extra overworld as well the other dimensions like the nether and twilight forest for exploration with a constant wipe to keep things fresh. I think this would retain players better and improve the longevity of a server between complete wipes and could be implemented on most other servers as well. Even possibly eliminating the need for a wipe all together.

I'm not a programmer or know a ton about the technical aspect of minecraft, but I think you could slip the functions into a weekly server restart. It would involve deleting the dimensions and then allowing them to repopulate when someone tries to enter the nether next. The extra overworld dimension would have to be a copied overworld file into a unused or underused dimension folder. I've heard this can be done to the end and you'll get the overworld with a weird colored sky, but i'm sure there's another unused dimension in mceternal. Again you can even use the same world file and copy it over and over again instead of generating the same world everytime or using a handful of different world generations.
Again all of this is just based on how I've heard minecraft works.

second overworld is unnecessary considering there are dimensions like twilight, the beneath, etc. where you can mine for resources and mostly find the same things that exist in the overworld.

As for the resets, all the other dimensions are resetting more or less every month which should be sufficient.
