Spawn Shop Has Broken Signs

Due to the server-breaking nature of the Twilight Forest, I am trying to get around resource requirements. However, the sign to buy the steeleaf seeds in the spawn shop is broken and I can't buy them. Additionally, is there any way to get around the requirements for things like knightmetal and other Twilight Forest resources?

Spawn shops are now fixed, what's the issue with Twilight Forest you refer?
