I'm hoping to start maybe doing a bracket style pvp tournament on the one day off I have along with other events folks might make. This post tho is for folks who would like to join in on a pvp tourney and what rules we should have, arena styles we should have to help with the first part, and any items we should make sure folks aren't using in regular tourneys. If we do later on specialized tourneys like underwater or a focus on parkour for examples then we might allow something that wouldn't be in a regular tourney. 2nd what kinda categories we should have. I don't expect there to be tons of folks wanting in, but example would be like iron category for those wearing iron only, with others up to and potentially including those with fully geared dragon/golem. I'm not gonna necessarily host every category sameday. What we might do is see whose on at the time and go with the weight categories appropriate for that time also we might even do like my timewise an early tournement and a lateday tourney to help let folks that can't make one time maybe make the other. I'm hoping we can have our first rounds by either mid or late this month. The main reason for something like the iron category is not just for newer players but those who may not hardly ever pvp at all. To help get them a bit interested especially if the stuff they are risking is something easily replaceable like iron, unechanted armor's, etc.

I'm not saying its harder for new players. The only thing i'm really contesting is that its being said to be completly looted. As that would be a falsehood. With no border its pretty much next to impossible for it to be completly looted. I'm not against the regular wiping of this zone. If they want to add it to the monthly i'm all for it. I just find it funny people will exaggerate things like saying its all looted when its not. The situation in this case doesn't have to be exaggerated. The main problem is newer players will more than likely die ten or more times before finding unlooted lands. A subproblem would be those wanting to play the market game will find themselves forever traveling outwards. The other upside to this would be that if we wipe it on a weekly or monthly basis. Anyone who had a beckon farm get out of hand will know that it'll get wiped if no staff can come help'm regulate the area. -

The Lost cities dimension doesn't have a border. Therefore it can't be fully looted. I have a spot where i'm around 80-90k in one direction and still finding stuff. It would be nice though if it was added to the reset rotation so that people don't have to try to figure out how many tens to hundreds of thousands of blocks out they gonna have to travel. -
I don't do rollbacks but i would like to know which staff member killed you as the only admin for RLcraft at this time is Asood and he's been without, anyway to log in for over a month.

Making sure did you look for corpse mod as i kinda didn't name it right in the title. Its called corpse complex. Sorry if the title created any confusion. Heres some in game screenshots. All i know is shivaxi simply put it in to give people some options if they so wanted them. Thats why alot of stuff is set to false. -

Items despawned within few Seconds

Depending on how many items you lost you will want to do either a refund request (for under 10 items) or a inventory rollback request (10 or more items) make sure though that you empty out your inventory regularly if you chose the inventory rollback request and don't store anything new in your enderchest during that time. RLtweaker patch was added a day or two ago and loot is now there without people having to do the temp fix. Thank Kaszanka_1234 for applying it.

Remove random Lycanites Mobs Events from overworld

Rlcraft is a modpack made to punish people in just about every way and make them think differently in how they do things. Before 2.9 it wouldn't have been hard to argue that we had some limitations in what we could build with and how it looked. Now we have quark mod and a few other mods that add interesting new building items for us to use. I also know they tried once so far to disable the events and it ended up only disabling the minibosses and bosses instead of the events. I do not know what the lycanite config looks like as most of the stuff i look at usually as an ingame viewing option for a decent amount of what it offers. If there are more attempts at this in the future, I would ask if its possible to only disable these events in main world. Despite some of the downsides to these events they are a very good source in some cases for people to gain knowledge rank exp and/or to make an attempt to tame a pet/mount they've had a hard time finding. The events that tend to cause the most harm yearround would be cinderfall, eruption, and Hells Fury as the primary base damagers also Sharknado spawns flying sharks that can knock off signs/item frames. In december Your Head Roastin On A Cinder Fire spawns several of the mobs from cinderfall and even tho there isn't a mob list in the wiki Satan Claw may have demons as part of it. Halloween also has its own event that will have a chance to spawn demons called Happy Halloween. If they can't be disabled for one world only but, is found that some can be disabled individually then i would suggest the ones listed be the main ones disabled as most of the mobs can be found in the nether, spawns created for them like cinders will start spawning with 7-12 active fires going, and the roas aka sharks can be found in oceans. The mobs are also programmed to despawn on there own after 5 min of the chunk being loaded in some people may perceive that they are staying longer as chunks on the outer edge of peoples visions (outer most chunks seeable) may not necessary have there timers counting down. -
Lycanite dungeon can't spawn on raid map

I've been here since feb 2020 and prolly started exploring raid world real good in march or april of that year. I've played off and on and never seen a lycanite dungeon in raid world. If its possible I know there was a whitelisting function for ice and dragon and that got us dragons and ice villagers back into the raid world here at the start of 2.9. Unlike ice and fire tho lycanites mobs does not have a config accessible while inside the game. Could someone familiar with configs check to see if they by anychance setup a whitelisting system for there dungeons. The main ones if whitelisting is possible for raid world would be Desert Crypts, lush tombs ,aberrant station, and shadow labyrinths. Also lycanite events destroying things is part of the modpack. Shivaxi wants you to think in every aspect of the game. So lycan mobs destroying, wood, turning cobblestone to lava puddles, and obsidian back to lava sourceblocks is all about making u think about what your doing and how you do it. This applies to farming, fishing (sometimes u fish up hostile mobs), mining, and going out to find dungeons or specific items/resources. On top of that lycanite events are one of the faster ways to level up your knowledge rank and tame pets/mounts easier with how the server has a lower spawnrate than normal rlcraft would.

They already have a claim removal system. This system you are proposing would be alright if there were no exceptions. When i played and admined in 7d2d we were responsible for things like claim removal but we didn't reset the place to day 1 as we had reset zones. The duty over there was remove the landclaimblocks, destroy all the stuff, wreck the base to ground level and make it look like it was never touched even tho any resouces mined out were never replaced. Our removal timeframe was after they hadn't logged in for 30 days which they then extended as you can imagine because we had some people thinking they were logging back before the 30th day only to find out they logged in 31 days after there inactivity. If they start just wiping out claims to regenerate the world they will run into some flak for people who thought they were in time. I think it would be more beneficial atm for anything we can't get in raid world to be proposed to be added to the current votechests like perhaps the cave crystals and maybe the archaelogist hats. The cave crystals could be a pack of each color giving 16 to 32 in either the normal or legendary crates and the archaeologist hat due to its rarity and only findable from archaelogist villagers in main world as a one time trade could go into the mystic crate. Or they can even just add alot of the stuff we can't get outside of mainworld to the shop as it looks like it has room for a few more items and is honestly due for some expansion in what it offers. Here tho we know they can revert a claim literally back to day 1 so if you wanted it preserved it would sadly need to be used on anyone and everyone who hasn't played for x amount of days. Not just preserve the big builds/claims and f off anyone with a smaller build who may have invested as much time playing as someone who did a bigger build. Honestly the people with bigger claims or multiple claims being cleared out would do more towards this presevation than just reseting all the smaller ones.

@time_breaker99ki corpse complex is already in rlcraft modpack they don't have to add anything. Go to mod options sort by a-z or type in corpse complex its already in the pack. When you go into the config everythings set to false. If your playing sp u can just turn it all to true if u want at will. But, on a server the server owner/staff in charge of configs are the ones that need to set it to true. -
In the rlcraft modpack we have a mod that is by default set to false in every category. This mod called corpse complex if turned on should leave a corpse of the player with all there items for them to get back instead of being at the mercy of the lag clear plugin targeting all there items literally in the moment(s) of death. As it is items on the ground in rlcraft is where alot of the memory leakage comes from before things like lycanite mobs and other stuff. Unless this mod has some issues i'm unaware of as i've never seen it on. This could reduce the amount of item refund and rollback requests substantially. I personally believe it will reduce the amount of forum posts made by people anywhere from 50-70% or higher. Only certain situations like curse of protection items not working correctly would be the main issue as far as i know and maybe people who died in the void. If it turns out there is an issue with this mod and leaves it invalid to be turned on may we please know what it is so others don't start asking for it regularly as they find out its part of the modpack. I gave the fix to rltweaker to asood along with the coding. I beleive scarl also did something similar with 3xj can't confirm but i know they got togethor and noticed that fishing made better wasn't configured right and that did get fixed. I understand if you all are busy but if you guys have time could you look at the coding if you need to for safety reasons I assume. There isn't really any other fix cause the conflict is between spongeforge and rltweaker. The fix we gave the asood/3xj fixes this issue with spongeforge (the conflict is with how spongeforge likes to do loot). If you guys decide not to use it we are basically waiting then for 2.9.1 to drop. Which is in the works but noone outside of Shivaxi's inner circle has any idea how much work is going into it. It looks like minor updates and a fixer update. Also noone has any idea when it'll be ready. I say fixer update cause alot of the mod makers for 1.12.2 are gravitating to 1.18 even two of shivaxi's main peeps Charles445 who has made every mod that has RL in it, simpledifficulty, on top of getting Rin of rins enchantments to let him work on that along with maybe one or two more. Fonny who has helped shivaxi alot is also moving to 1.18. This sadly does not mean that rlcraft will suddenly shoot to 1.18. anytime soon because currently it would be missing anywhere from 1/2 to 2/3rds of the mods they need. They beleive it'll take 2-5 years for that be a reality if it even becomes a reality at all with how fast mojang is pushing out new updates.
