please give more details for this island rollback, what happened?

was remoddeling my island then i saw the 30 sek server restart.. then after the server was up again it was gone.. from its place and the new place.. and those that was in inventory was gone.. but i have had some problems at the same time, that the items im placing is suddently turned into hopper(s). and items i was putting into hand and tryed placing, ended up back in backpack..
