VIP Rank in the forums

Hey, I recently bought VIP for the IE server, but when I did, my forums account had a different name than my Minecraft account so my VIP didn't show up on the forums account.

Now I changed my name to the same name as the Minecraft account and it doesn't show up as VIP so I was wondering if it needs to be done manually or just need to wait and it will change automatically.
