Launcher not loading the list of Modpacks

I have had this issue for some time and been working on it myself to no avail.   I think it is time to ask about it on here

 

To report this error, please provide:

java.io.IOException: The list of modpacks could not be downloaded.

Caused by: java.io.IOException: Did not get expected response code, got 301 for http://www.craftersland.net/modpack/_upload/packages.json

I have Java 8 221

I have uninstalled and re-installed the launcher

I think i have given the launcher an exception in my anti-virus software

not sure what else to do
