Severely limit or remove the damage modifier of Epic Siege mod

Recommended Posts

# The factor by which mob health and damage multipliers will be increased when bosses are killed [range: 0.0 ~ 3.4028235E38, default: 0.1]
    S:"Boss Kill Modifier"=0.003

# Enabled boss kill modifier on damage dealt [default: true]
    B:"Boss Mod Damage"=true

Those are the two settings in the epicsiegemod.cfg file that would need to be modified. Changing the second one to false turns it off completely. May have to delete the ESM.dat file in the world folder as well.

The problem is the mod is not really balanced for server play, where hundreds of bosses are killed a day. Also to mention that the Woot mod simulates 500 boss kills when its first placed to get the correct loot tables from those enemies. Those "fake kills" count to the Epic Siege mod. Means every time a player puts a woot boss farm down for the first time the mobs get 1.5x more powerful. So for every 333 boss kills the mobs get plus 1x times stronger. 999 kills (fyi just two woot boss farms) = 3x modifier

This makes a normal zombie, whos base damage is 3(1.5 hearts), do 9(4.5 Hearts). This is not factoring in any other damage modifiers that zombies get from other mods. That's just one player making two farms. This is also just assuming the modifier is additive and not multiplicative, like the description suggests. Aka .003 times the current modifier for each kill.

Not everything works in a server environment and changes need to be made to make it a better experience for everyone.
