I closed the vote pool after the discussions on Discord and the fact that some nice mods are missing for now in DW 1.21, if they will add them later we will see then if we update.

Maybe I'm  outvoted, but I'd say the 1.21 pack is not as good. It's missing some good mods like Botania and Create, and the main addition it seems to have is minecolonies - which doesn't work properly on other Craftersland servers anyway, apparently the townsfolk get deleted by the weekly reset. Can anyone see any other cool mods in this pack?
I think the main reason for the low number of players in the 1.20 server was the technical difficulties that plagued the server for the first few months. By the time most ppl could get into the server, other servers with this pack had been running for months. This might be an argument for switching to the new pack - to stay ahead of the game, if the server can be released without the bugs. I guess it's a question of what will attract more players.

Kas fixed the maintenance mode, and I was able to TP to my base without the server crashing, so looks like the update fixed my issue. 🙂

I've automated the train now. A villager's driving it. You just take a seat and off it goes. Goes between spawn, my base, and a few villages.

I believe a server update could help resolve a lot of these issues. Especially with mekanism causing quite a lot of issues.

That's right! Who needs Waystones? The Create mod has trains! Not faster minecarts, actual trains, that you can build. It takes a bit of effort to make them look good (framed blocks are your friend), but once I found out about them, of course I had no choice but to build a railway.
Sadly I can only upload one image (anyone know how to make these screenshots smaller?) but I've done a railway from my base to near spawn, with a station each end, and a train with 4 passenger seats. One of the seats is occupied by a bee though. I'm also made a second train for trackwork - it has a roller on the back wagon.
Anyway, there's a bit of work involved, but these bigger trains are an awesome way to connect bases, they're surprisingly fast, and can be automated by putting a mob in the drivers seat (with a schedule). A production line to make the track is essential, preferably connected to an auto-crafting pattern. I built this stuff in the Direwolf 1.19 server, but the Create mod is in most of the newer packs.
Now I need to make some friends, so I can build a railway to their bases

MINING GADGETS BUG
I would like to report a Bug with Mining Gadgets; Mining Gadget MK3.
I have created one of these items with the upgrades: Light Placer, Fortune Tier 3, Efficiency Tier 5 and Upgrade: Battery Tier 3.
When i use the mining gadget, items break but do not appear in my inventory, they just seem to vanish as they do not drop to the floor either. Can this please be looked into as I have missed out on many mined items before i noticed this issue.
 
PEDESTALS BUG
Unable to create the upgrade tool in the Pedestals mod. When the item is trying to be made the message: 'mesage You cannot place sticks!' appears. This prevents any progression in the mod.

Yea the buycraft for the 1.20 DW server has been really buggy overall.  With issues like not receiving daily rewards, or ranks not being activated. This definitely needs to be looked into.

Add the following line to your java prelaunch arguments for the modpack: -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true

Heya Just to post a heads up the End dimension is inaccessible on the new 1.12 DW server. */warp end and using any of the end portals doesn't get you anywhere.

WIPE is Complete on our FTB Direwolf20 1.12.2 modded server! New map seeds generated for all worlds and a fresh start!

Honestly this feels like kind of a reach for “SOMETHING NEW” & considering that hardly anyone is even on this mod pack does it make sense to do this?
I myself just started playing the 1.12 pack again & within the last 3 weeks & I've maybe seen one other person on besides my initial friend who invited me to play on this server.
 
Just my two cents, I dont think the reset is all that necessary if no one else is playing to begin with. I personally think also just take it down altogether if you also cant have any staff playing or anyone online to help.

One of my favorite mod packs. Dated yes but still alot of new players grind thru a pack relatively quickly even some of the newer big packs and alot of the players that I used to see all the time I haven't seen sense they moved on after reaching end game. As far as a wipe I am fine with it.

Not saying this reset isn't necessary but.. Feels like a slap in the face.

I've been waiting for this post to pop up for quite some time 😁. Dw20 builders assemble!!! it's time to rebuild.

Help me pls i died and the gravestone is away with all the stuff in it and there was the waypoint that i died but the gravestone isnt there

I would want a 1.16.5 or 1.16.4 so I would wait until its updated. If not Sevtech: Ages of the Sky could be fun to do on a server if that's possible
