Cant Veinmine/Excavate

Everytime i try to use excavate/veinmine while using a hammer, pickaxe, or crook, it times me out and i have to restart skyfactory to log back in. Everytime i come back it puts me back at spawn with my inv set as it was before i timed out. Its becoming a pain to not have veinmine handy.

I have also recently learned that it crashes the server according to Imperitus (im not sure how to spell it)
