Can't join server, says visit forum for password

I am lost, when I join the server, I can't move and it says I need a password, and to the check the forum if I don't know it. I obviously don't know it, I just found the server 10 minutes ago. I checked the forum but couldn't find anything, so no I made a forum account and am posting this thread. So far my server experience isn't all that great... very complicated to join....

You need to make a password using the command /register (password) (password)

then use the command /login (and the password you put in in the command above)

I tried that, but it said I didn't need to register

password reset complete, you will need to register a new password next time you join
