sf server reset

if the server gets a reset can the active payers keep there is and inv and the inactive lose there is and inv would that be possible to do thx

If a reset did happen, everyone would have their islands, inventories, enderchests and money resetted to provide a equal start to everyone

This question is raised every time when server get incoming wipe.

Answer is NO.

The server policy is such that everyone gets the same start conditions. No exceptions.

This would negate the reason to even do a wipe in the first place, if people got to know they could keep their inventory they would stash their entire base in their inventory. ME drives, the whole island, in layers and layers of bags. First off this would corrupt a bunch of inventories, but the reason we do wipes is to reduce on the lag and have everyone start over. And for everyone to be on the same level when they progress through the modpack after a wipe. 

Would be mind of boring if someone starts auctioning off inventories full of items at day 1 cause they got to keep their items while the others didn't. It's not how it works... and as Timur said...

I have one question   If i bought a Rf tools dimension an the server get wiped, will i lose the Dim or does it get reseted?

i am thinking to buy one to have it for after the wipe?

@Elonol21 The dimension would get reset too, but if there is a wipe you could move that " perm save " onto another dimension once you have RFtools once again setup.

But yes, you would also lose the dimension.

Money that you get from say donating for a rank can be " re-activated " upon a server wipe. 

So, money would still get reset, but you can still get the ingame balance you donated for back.
