Cubone Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Currently there are 3 different, unstackable, types of vote key. Most come from normal votes, one of the votes (can't remember which) gives another type, and vote parties give a third. All the keys are visually the same (same name, description, enchant etc.) and because of vote delays it is somewhat difficult to narrow down which vote gives a unique type. There is no good reason for the vote keys from different events to be different in the game and since they all do exactly the same thing, they should all be the same 'type'.
Henk Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 There is actually a reason for this. Every key obtained carries an extra set of data that you - as the player - you don't see. This data differs from how you obtained the key, from where and at what time. This is why your keys that you got from voting yesterday don't always stack with the ones you have today. This might not sound that useful for you, however it is for us as we can restrict one specific key from being usable if we find it to be widely duped, or any other reason to restrict it.
Cubone Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 Fair enough. Figured it was something like this.
