In-Game Nickname: JleoH_IIpo (deathbygerbils)

Time and date: ~10pm EST 8/28/17

Description of what happened: (In chronological order)

So for the second time I was attempting to do the pseudo inversion sigil ritual and was killed by JleoH_IIpo.  While true that pvp is allowed I view this as harassment in light of the fact he attacked unprovoked someone with items that were clearly not of the same caliber (ie awakened draconic vs flux infused).  Additionally it was done with full knowledge that I was preforming a ritual that had to be done in the end as he later mentioned that my setup was wrong indicating that he knew what I was doing.  I also attempted to fly away upon seeing him, and only died when I finally rejoined the server after a restart and had lag spawning in.  This was followed with several of my own attempts to use /back to go to the site of the ritual to attempt to continue it as some of the items for it are annoying to obtain (ie music discs) and being repeatedly killed before moving.  If you have the ability I encourage you to look at the chat logs and death logs of this time as I only have the later parts of the conversation screenshotted.

Now following this I was ridiculed and teased for complaining about this harassment in chat by both JleoH_IIpo and deathbygerbils.  Again the screenshots only show a part of this, but what they do capture could be interpreted as bullying.

TL;DR JleoH_IIpo killed me in a public use zone I could not avoid entering and he/she and deathbygerbils "bullied" me when I complained.

As people already said pvp is fully enabled and killing you during a ritual may be impolite but its not illegal. Make a platform somewhere or make a small tempoary town. As for the repeated killing after you did /back, well according to THIS post it's counted as spawn killing and therefore illegal. But what is interesting is that Quagma said "If they try coming back to get their stuff...." so does that mean that its ok to kill someone but you're not allowed to take anything from the person? In that case deathbygerbils owes me a full quantum armor, some tools and a dragon heart because he killed me 2 days ago after I resurrected a dragon. 

Would be nice if some staff could clarify this.

Personally my problem with this is really the fact that he killed me as I was logging into the server so I couldn't yet move or see him, and the name calling that occurred after as despite the fact that it was childish it was still harassment.  The /back killing was annoying as well but not really a problem as I had already lost everything that wasn't soul bound.  And to the response that I could have gone elsewhere; have you tried doing those rituals on a platform? Outside of a sky block the spawn rate is far too low to actually complete it within a reasonable time frame.

well how about the chat eh? they commit to it to kill them and as u can see there is sort of a list where u can see they are bullyin him tho

hmm . First i kill him 1 time and not on spawn. Second he lier... And u trust all what they say you.

u sure about that ? i always speak with other staff members about their opinion so most of my punishments are done after speaking to other staffs and were aproved by them so ?

it's not just like me punishing players when i get random screenshoots.
