[Suggestion] Vote for server restart

As the title says, i think a plugin that allow us, the players, to vote for a restart it could be useful in some situations. Of course it would work in some conditions, like if more than half the server players votes for a restart or depending when was the last vote/restart so it would not be abused. This was it would be easy for us to manage some problems that require a server restart without bothering a staff member. Also, i would like to see this plugin on all servers (if added), not only on this one.

Hi, well, what are the restart reasons you had? The existing system will auto restart the server if server is running low on memory or starts to lag, and few other conditions

For example a few days ago, there was a bug with ic2 mod (the cables were glitched and would not connect) for a few people on the server. We had to wait for an admin to enter and restart the server. Yes, the command will be used in some very rare situations but it could be useful when you need it.

As you say, that situation is very rare and even though your suggestion makes sense in some ways, it doesn’t in some others. 

Imagine a late night, the server doesn’t have alot of players on it and it only requires 3 votes to reatart the server. Scumbag player decides to create a bunch of alt accounts to screw with everyone online and force restart the server over and ovet again.

 

I thin a system like this would honestly cause more problems than it fixed, not to mention that we were lucky a mere restart fixed the IC2 issue. If anything maybe more staff should have ability to restart. GM+/GM.
