missing items

Occasionally while playing some  of my inventory items disappear.  While placing a resonant tesserac one of four vanished, the same with ender_markers ans several other items, what is happening?

Wrong section, can some staff move it to the right place?

If it's Creative it's normal, when the server resets, your inventory and the ender chest stuff disappear. To save stuff, save it in the Save Inventory (The part of the creative inventory that is marked with a bookshelf) or by placing them in chests, furnaces, brewing stands, dropperes, hoppers or dispensers (maybe i forgot something, so i'll say it's everything excepting the ender chest and your inventory.

If it's Hiipo-Plots. Maybe you are saving your stuff in the resources world. There everyone can pick up your staff. To save it use /p auto to create a plot and you can save your stuff there

I've been meaning to ask what all that world/ game stuff meant and how it affects me, can you be more specific?  All I do is log in and play.
