Server crashes when joining

Hey

There seems to be a problem with the server, or maybe its my island. Everytime i join it simply crashes with 'ReadTimeOutException'. I think that our island is crashing the server but im not entirely sure about it. Can you guys check this because i really dont want to lose my island and i still want to play so.

That's the problem with the server. It's a temporary issue -  should be gone by now.

can you confirm the issue was fixed? I checked your island and i didn't crash

It was a server performance issue. I believe it’s a timeout, and it means that the server didn’t respond for long enough that it triggered a timeout. It just meant that the server was struggling. Ultimately, the only fix is a server restart, which eventually triggers. The only fix is to get a more powerful server - and that won’t get rid of it entirely. The other possibility is on the client end - a problem with the connection.
