Since the 2.0 update has happened, The server has been unstable. TPS has been bellow 20 TPS since the update. Also I have a few concerns. The mods that were removed affected a good amount of players. My draconic energy core has stopped working entirely after many tries to fix it. Most mob grinders are built around Mob Grinding Utlis. Just seems to have cause more issues then it has done good. @brunyman

It’s not because the world is old, the recommended world restart with this update was because of all the new world gen structures and ores. We addressed this by adding a new temporary overworld.

We can’t just possibly revert back at ease, we could revert back and load a 2 day old backup save, but that would rollback the entire server and I don’t see that as an option. Ok, so what if we don’t rollback and just revert back with the current world..! Well, then a lot of items will be lost that are apart of the new update, not to mention things like your fusion reactor wouldn’t come back anyways.

Revelation 1.8 was pretty stable because it was well tested for about a month’s time by our staff group. Updates are usually small, this one wasn’t. This one was as large as a new modpack itself and requires the same amount of testing as the initial modpack did. We can’t predict everything, and somethings just has to run it’s toll to see what’s the cause of it. Some of our servers have been laggy in the past and gotten stability patches to great effect.

You may or may not agree to the changes that the FTB team did to the modpack, but we would like to move forward with the updates than to live in the past.

Just have a bit of patience with us, it hasn’t even been close to a full day yet.

And we are actually working on it right now.

Hi, sorry for the trouble but to wait about 6 months to update seems a bit too much, and WIPE now is also not an option since the server is running for about a month. We will try to fix the stability issues, right now seems that the issue was Deep Dark causing  massive amounts of lag, we planed to reset it today anyway.
