cant type in text chat

I can't type in text chat, I can just pm to people!

Yesterday the text chat worked for me

 

My ingame name is: JonathanB425

@JonathanB425 Restart your game im pretty sure should fix it, when it happened to me it didn't let me do commands or anything either

If restarting your game doesn't work, try the following. 

 

Options -> Chat settings -> Chat: Shown

 

Might be that it's set to commands only, that's why you're having trouble with it. I had the same problem once.
