There should be no login required because it is useless and what if you forget when you want to play again, just take it out it's easier.

I disagree.  I like the password being in place.  I can allow my kids to play but don't have to worry about them accidentally logging in to my account on the server, since the password will keep them from being able to do anything.

That sounds like a personal problem and I don't know why your kids are playing tekkit by themselves.

The password plugin is installed because this is a cracked server. So you don’t need a premium account to play.

Can we all agree that this post is stupid, and NoNo if you think kids should not be playing tekkit by themselves, then you are pure scum. If you hate this so much, automate it simple.

The password is in place to prevent other people from logging in as you. If I remember correctly 1.6.4 doesn't support UUID verification or something like that and since we support offline mode we put this method in place to prevent an account being used by others without permission.

This was not called for. If I remember correctly, Minecraft is a 7+ game and therefore there is no problem with allowing children to play it.

It is not difficult to remember one single password then there's something wrong with your memory skills. However, I can understand forgetting your password after a long period of time without playing, therefore we are capable of resetting one's password and allowing the player to create a new one.
