Can I just say, That I am a prospective player, and am looking to join this server, but everyone is at late game and that kind of makes joining an issue because im not growing with the community and probably just getting hand me downs in an attempt to catch up. This barrier to entry for me and probably other players would be resolved by a wipe. As for the mod issues with Astral mod. Fix it ASAP that mod is cool but this pack has garbage balance so it really is not worth it. I could not give less shits about the "gay" issues, I mostly care about wipe and mod fixes.

Looks like you are butthurt to me honest. This seems perfectly legit and I use this very practice to have more dominion on my land. The player cannot build on the land that they have not claimed and even if they wall themselves in there is no safety in the land.

Thanks GravityCube for a fair analysis, I want to state that those people who I made "leave the server" were not killed over and over again, they simply did not like pvp and thus left. Next I want to specify that I know that afind was not a compliant program, I was working on finding a way to make it so. Find on the other hand, as gravity said was a compliant program, deleting my entire computer and hard work is not really a good way to go about this. Other staff, such as donoskoro, reached out to me to find a solution. As requested quoting gravity. Again thanks for the fair analysis. -

I agree AC it can be annoying but this is something that needs to be taken control of by you (the player). Just go into the mod file, and change the alarm sound to something that is different or silent. Easy. I understand your concern though and you make a valid point. It just is that this can be dealt with clientside.

what if its just a noob who joined and bought sponsor ? Not a very good solution in that case. Also what if the person wants to play survival? You cannot automate it, therefore it is bad.

If you want to delete all the inactive towns its very easy. Just delete every town. That will delete inactive ones

Yeah Non active player bases are most likely not even loaded, hence they would not cause lag. The plugin you suggest is useful for other reasons however for maintaining space on the server.

So your plan is to... create a modified mod instance where if the setLine function tries to set a sign to anything in some set of exploitable values, it will not do so. If I am getting this straight you believe that you can do this in a way only affecting only the server code, and then have the owner approve this? And you believe/have researched this and found it is feasible?

How would you go about restricting the setLine method in that one case? The only place you could insert that logic is in mod code (not feasible) or in the API code (less not feasible)

No, and they do lag the server. That lag is an acceptable cost and people should accept it instead of limit people's creativity.

I don't think this is a good idea. The problem is that now people who enjoy computercraft would lose access to something very fun.

I hate this fucking bullshit. How could you advocate for restrictions on the items that give players power. How about instead of that we give admins the power to fix the server. I know GM is a very high rank and I keep hearing the words "we cant do that" from them. SO instead of trying to make players be less creative how about we empower our staff to help players?

BY the way today i found my shit missing from my base. My Entire me system gone... I got griefed I know because there is shit in there that otherwise wouldn't be... and it happens to be a hellfish and skeleton spawner.... SoLong I see you. You are going to have hell to pay.
