giving ranks according to time spent

I am proposing implementing giving players little ranks next to their names for the amount of hours spent on the server, the ranks could include small kits, and small bonuses, and the last ranks could include big bonuses such as  an extra town or home. But nothing that will overpower the paid ranks as then it would seize to become worth buying the rank. I'm suggesting this so that players can be more involved in the game, and its just another entertaining goal for players.
