Chat Spam Request

Hi - Would it be possible to please remove this from spamming the chat every 3 minutes? (I'm on Revelation, but I assume this is network-wide).

It's awesome to see how well the server is doing, but this belongs on a status web page instead of shoving our chat away so frequently.

I completely agree. I've seen nothing but complaints about it both in my server and on the Discord, and has always been a point of frustration for me as every time I'm trying to help someone, it fills chat, completely derailing the conversation, so I either have to hope they saw it or repost it and feel like a spammer.

 

Blyatman mentioned the idea of a toggle, so if Bruny could code something for that, maybe we could have an opt out command?

I've been playing in network for almost three years and that has never pop out in the chat. I assume that's only a modded issue.

It's every modded server, AFAIK.

Please remove that spam text. So annoying while chatting with people. Easily to lost track of the story.

I don't think removing it entirely is a good idea. Occasionally seeing the status of all the servers is a good thing.
That said, I also think decreasing the frequency is something we can look into.
