I can tell you why this happened, there is a bug with Tinkers smelteries where they will clear inventories of chests if they are in the same chunk. I highly suggest moving the smeltery to its own chunk by itself. (Which can be seen with F9 if you do not know) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
