Creating a Town Chat Channel

Hey guys! I have a suggestion that would really help communication in towns that don't consist of just one person.

After getting lost between /r conversations and accidentally putting stuff in global chat, I feel it would be tremendously useful to create a town chat function, similar to Towny. What I mean is, each town, when created, will have its own channel. If someone is not in a town, then they have no access to a town chat. Is this possible? If so, I think it would be a great addition.

You can chat in local channel if you guys are nearby. It only shows up in a certain radius.

I think he meant to use it even if they are not local. Even i would like to see this happen at ftb ie.
For staff control, it could be in a different color or with a prefix.

this is certainly possible within mt2 (1.7.10) but I don't think that its in mt1 (1.6.4)
