But assuming you meant Swiss cheese, I'll briefly explain this below. 9 hours ago, epivman800 said: more cheese=more holes Well, of course. You said cheese has holes, so the more cheese you add, the more holes the cheese will have. 9 hours ago, epivman800 said: more holes=less cheese Yes. The holes are empty, so they don't have cheese in it. 9 hours ago, epivman800 said: more cheese=less cheese This makes sense. Because as I said previously, the more cheese you add, the more holes it will have, and you said that more holes = less cheese.
MarceLOL Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 The problem of induction? This would be using deductive premises: God is love. Love is blind. My dad is blind. Therefore, my dad is God.
MarceLOL Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Oh, you wanted an explanation, here it is: cheese have holes: yeah more cheese=more holes: yeah more holes=less cheese: here is the problem. If there are more holes, it doesn't mean there is less cheese, it means there is more cheese (more cheese=more holes; 2nd premise) so it would keep a proportion of more holes / more cheese. Therefore, more holes never would affect to the cheese, it never would be less cheese because to be more holes there must be more cheese, it's balanced
