i was banned and not given a reason or even an explanation, i should be unbanned or at least have somebody explain why i was banned and if so, reapply the ban with the user who banned me, the reason and the duration

Someone used an exploit to ban people that day, the perpetrator has been banned  and the exploit has been patched since then.
 

You should have been unbanned as well.
