Can't join server

Hey I'm trying to join this server and can't. I have forge 1.12.2 and RLcraft downloaded. I can't find any information on this forum about what other mod pack is required. Any help would be great thanks!

Thanks! Are you familiar with the launcher at all? I've gotten an error message I'll paste here.

How much RAM do you have?

Usually that happens when you aren't using 64-bit Java. As 32-bit java is maxed at 2 GB allocation, raising that exception.

I downloaded the 32 bit java and got the same error message, and I have 8 gigs of ram

You should reinstall the 64-bit java as it supports more RAM allocation, because many modpacks have a minimal requirement of 2-4 GB.
