Are you looking to be a digital artist or do you want to photoshop images? They're two totally separate professions. Both can and usually are done in the same software but they will have different outcomes and goals.

Slit Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 photoshop = manipulating existing photos, digital artistry = pretty much anything that is drawn via a program or digitizer
IanTheOfficial Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 you could also use photoshop to create new photos, paint and etc. Photoshop is now limitles since they've realesed CC 2015 even video editing is now possible inside of photoshop. It is a good practice. Keep doing what you're doing! I started from these kinda stuff too You might also wanna try using Adobe Illustrator and Indesign. Mastering this three softwares can get you really far on graphic design even if you just wanna do it as a hobby. You could use all the skill you learn from these to other software as well. Here is my old portfolio before I gave up graphic design and switched to animation. http://adrianlazaro69.wix.com/portfolio I've drawn this one too
