Incredible lag since yesterday

The server started to lag yesterday (26th Dec 2016, aroung 18:00 UTC+1). This lag is so extreme that I once had to wait 2 minutes for the server to respond to what I've done. I've also diead 2 times and lost a resonant jetpack and a mining turtle (R.I.P. Miney :'c). It's nearly impossible to play! Please fix that!

Do others feel this lag? Server seems to run fine, i'm wondering if it's your connection to server.

I'm having the same issues with from the same time. I also lost a hugh amount (relative) of stuff but nothing I can't replace.

At the same time one of my ME stations glitched and got stuck. not sure if connected but another player had the same issue.

I haven't had any issues with lag until today about 45 minutes ago. server was running at 3.89 tps on the overworld. coincidentally, there are 4 names I don't see on the server any more.

I hadn't done anything different since yesterday either. 

Has this been solved? the lag seems to be gone.

seems like it. I logged in to my floodgates and chunkloaders gone. also the enderium sea I was making was world edited out. particle accelerator was bugged as well. just re-did all of that minus the floodgates and everything seems to be running fine

I'm not the only one who has these lags that came out of nowhere. And these lags usually start at about 18:00 and end past midnight (UTC+1, middle european time).

What is your ISP, and what area are you connecting from? (IE: northeast US, west coast, east coast, new zealand)

Looks like it was a base with some big plasma reactors, but the server still feels a bit laggy sometimes as the map got full of bases.

Is it better on the moon or mars? If yes, then I'll instantly move there.

PS. I'm from Croatia and my ISP is "Iskon", but I think that's not the problem, because other people in the world have the same issues.

PSS. Why is the Tekkit server the only modded server not hosted in Europe, instead of the US?

Recently someone gave me an IP adress that brings me to the Craftersland Tekkit server, but without any lag. I won't say who gave it or what the IP is, because I don't know if the person who gave me the IP wants that.

...so what you're saying is because of your location, you have lag, and a proxy is fixing this lag?

I have never daid it's because  my location and yes, the proxy has fixed everything.
