Fluid Transposer Issue

Been trying to use the Empty option with the fluid transposer in tekkit. Haven't really gotten any straight answers from anyone so I thought i'd post here. Not sure if it belongs under Technical Support but here it is.

I have used the Fill option which works, however the empty option does not seem to work; was wondering if this was set to not work or if it's just a bug in the game. I have looked at the recipes and know that the Ink Vials do work (or at least should). Just to test I also used a water bucket which also did not work.

For the ink vials: NEI thinks that a bottle has a 1000mb content. but since this is a different value in mystcraft, it will not accept it with fluidtransposers (mystcraft liquid crafting works different to normal so the mods don't allow transfer)

For buckets: i think this is a side effect of a fix for liquid dupes that was done during the last wipe; disallowing buckets to be emptied using fluid transposers for some reason (probably to a likelyhood of duping liquids).

 

Could also just be a bug in the mod. Thermal expansion in 1.6 was far from finished, so bugs are very likely.

I think so too. 

 

Easiest way to empty buckets is to right click a tank/drum with full bucket in your hand, then pipe it into transposer.  A portable tank can sit on top of transposer and export it's contents to transposer without a pipe as well. 

 

For ink, get the mystcraft page for it!  Pump it into a portable tank, pump tank of ink into left side or desk block. Keep the ink vials you had made as the ink mixer won't accept ink from an external container like the desk can. Otherwise the vials should move quickly on the market  

 

 

Personally i find moving liquids via tanks and fluiducts to be very fast and efficient. So much so that i simply don't use the transposer to empty containers from within. I hope this helps.
