I consider it a hardly defined line but how I personally define it is by if it’s a modification to the game, unfairly benefits you compared to others, or if it completely automates a process.

 

There is no difference between using a macro or place a ”brick” on your mouse. I think this is minor enough to be allowed, and i know tons of people who uses a weight to hold a key down when doing SF3. And we can’t ban for something that small :P and as it’s not any modification, or big advantage, or full automation then I think it’s fine.

As long as you don’t use macros to automate more complex mechanics in the future as here is where I draw the line.

 

I mean, you’ll be using auto sieves soon enough anyways.
