Makes for quite a different early game. They added a portal to the lost cities dim to the spawn build in the last world if you need loot. Otherwise, while lost cities easily take over the world and obliterate any normal terrain if not configured VERY carefully, a lot of players also just prefer the normal world with normal terrain so they can live their dreams on a clean slate.
